Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Bobble latest blog transfer has been sent to me …

Luiz on a loan to buy is of interest but no bids
Kubo we’re waiting for Sociedad to come back from Japan
McAtee - met Moyes earlier this week but no bid planned and no indication if he’s keen / sounds like he’s visiting a few clubs in PL & Germany.

and that’s it
Excellent news🙂

He's a real socialdad if he's visiting Japan.

Garnering interest would generally be a call to his agent saying ‘would he be interested?’. The manager meeting a player would usually be something you do to convince him you really want him and he should choose you over other clubs. Meeting a player we’re not bidding for does sound like a pretty odd move.
Hey flew to Eintracht last week so he’s defo considering his options - hopefully he picks up 🙏🏻

Do we have a telephone to call Sociedad?
I'm glad we're not rushing into anything. It.means that we are being very professional

Underwhelming 😂

It could be an ingenious move from Real Sociedad to wait until their Japanese tour has concluded to sell Kubo. Whilst he is in Japan with their squad, they could sell plenty of Real Sociedad shirts with Kubo on the back and make a small fortune, before selling him to any potential suitors for a healthy fee. They get a double hit of income from a player who is likely on their way out anyway.

I’m not sure I’d call it ingenious, it’s about as basic an idea as it’s possible to have.
