Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Yeah obviously correct because as we all know the Italian league is the biggest league by far money wise.....
Don`t think TFG are arsed about the money, IMO they want the prestige because in football you will lose money. That is a given...

They finished 5th winning 20 games and just missing out on Champions League, 1 European Trophy and another final in the last few years. How does that even compare to us? The clubs are poles apart...

I’ll Believe that when the fella is arsed enough to even show up to a game
Who cares if they are in the stadium?

They came in and got the finances and interest payments under control.

They fired dyche and brought in a new manager even though that was not likely in the plan at that point.

Got a good stadium naming rights deal

And kicked out the old guard and brought in proper people to run this club.

In the last few years you say. Yeah the first ever European trophy was won under TFG.

Who owned them during this period and if you think we are second fiddle to Roma you're mental mate, look at the viewing figure for the two leagues. Which gives more prestige?

Not arsed about money, then why buy us? If not to make us successful and therefore gain prestige

It wouldnt surprise me if we didn’t sign any proper RW.
All the players we have been linked to, McAtee, El Khannouss, Grealish, Harrison and others, there is probably only Fellows that is a real winger. The others are players that start wide and come inside or prefer to play on The left or central.

I think Moyes is looking af playing 3 AM and using the fullbacks to provide the width. But that would mean we’d need a LB and a RB that can get forward

Kubo ?

Roma are the golden child we are just the annoying step kid that they never wanted we’ll get what where given
FIFA and football manager have melted people’s brains. Roma have been relatively successful in the past number of years thanks in part to the Friedkin group, therefore they are run properly and are able to spend more money. We’ve been saddled with debt, have been on the verge of collapse and taken two points deductions for financial irregularities. If Roma can spend and we can’t, it’s nothing to do with the current owners. How many times before people realise it isn’t 2004 anymore. Owners can’t pump money in for transfers. A club has to make its own money

All I ask is from them they spend every penny they can up to our PST threshold probably for the next 4 windows.

The issue is nobody knows what that is and therefore we can’t tell if they’re backing us in the market or not.
