Can we go get that Colombian fella then please....Romano tells us Roma have just agreed a €23m + €2m fee for El Aynaoui.
The Douglas Luiz thread had multiple pages of people speaking Latin. Judging by that nothing of interest is happening anywhere on the transfer front.About 15 pages of movement in here.
Anything happening, or are you all arguing amongst yourselves again?
HmmmmmTFG are too busy giving funds to the AS Roma .. hence zero credible links to any players this week bar McAtee having meetings with Moyes at the Titanic
Not even remotely how it works, mucker.TFG are too busy giving funds to the AS Roma .. hence zero credible links to any players this week bar McAtee having meetings with Moyes at the Titanic
It was a response to Aries’ critique of our transfer pot/TFG that he evidenced by saying Roma has not spent anything. Apologies for not making it clearer.Wrong thread, then, mate
Well they haven’t yet, have they?It was a response to Aries’ critique of our transfer pot/TFG that he evidenced by saying Roma has not spent anything. Apologies for not making it clearer.
Depends how you phrase it.
If you’d said at the end of last season that by the middle of July Everton would have spent 42 million on a number 10 and a striker, with the striker being the biggest fee paid by the club since Onana, it doesn’t sound so bad.
Because Alcaraz was practically in the building anyway and everyone’s forgotten the Barry transfer now, it feels to some like we’re having a poor window.
I’m personally encouraged that we’re not getting into over bidding for players to get them through the door. We did that with Moshiri and ended up with players who didn’t want to be here for massive transfer fees and massive wages.
We got Barry in under his release clause. We didn’t take the option with Alcaraz and instead negotiated a separate deal. We didn’t offer Tete stupid money to gazump Fulham. This is the type of negotiating I’d much rather see, getting good value for players who actually want to be here.
People might call him dithering Dave but for me his judgement first time round was absolutely excellent in protecting the money we had and moving us up the table so I trust him to get the player he wants at the right prices and do the best thing for the club.
You will change your mind when our bench is basically youngsters who's career after Everton will be in League One.I do not think we will miss the output of any of those players mate...![]()
