I'm fully aware there's no specific window it was a figure of speech. However, the benefits of getting your first team signings in by the tour which is going to form the central part of pre season are as obvious as the hole in your arse (another figure of speech)

What is your solution? Force other clubs to sell players they're not ready to sell? Overpay so that a few more players can go on the tour?

I know mate I agree. There seems to be absolutely no urgency inside the club to address the issues that need addressing though. It’s the 17th July and we haven’t even attempted to sign a single right winger despite having 0 at the club.

How do you know we haven't tried to sign anyone? Ben Jacobs reported we were in for the winger who ended up signing for Juventus.

Properly run clubs don't do their business in public.

Lindstrom was/is a class player. Sure he drifts out of games when he doesn't get the ball but I personally see him as streets ahead of Harrison. Lindstrom offers a potential upside under Moyes,and would bring less chaos thana completely new signing. Would be good for another loan - whereas Harrison offers nothing as he proved in the second half of last season.

I was desperate for this to be true but the evidence shows he is not good enough for this league. He was miles off it in general.

He doesn’t. He’s just guessing based on the publicly available info which is actually also often guesswork and made up rumour.

That said, if we all just posted the known facts in the forum then it would be low on engagement haha
