There is no window to get players in before the USA tour, just a complete fabrication to get upset about not signing players on a made up timeline.

I'm fully aware there's no specific window it was a figure of speech. However, the benefits of getting your first team signings in by the tour which is going to form the central part of pre season are as obvious as the hole in your arse (another figure of speech)

You don't agree that not having a senior right winger on a permanent contract (not an academy player) looks a bit amateurish when your playing in an official premier league pre season tournament?

I realise it could be academic and one walks in the door tomorrow. However, the clock is ticking.

So we are saying if we do not sign anyone by Monday/Tuesday we will basically see no further movement and have the same squad by 4th/5th August and less than 2 weeks before the 1st game of the season right?

You don't know but you could be right, I'm pretty optimistic maybe to my detriment, that there will be further developments in the next couple of days

We have at least 1 massive gaping hole which is obvious, but god forbid we get any injuries whilst in the US as we may then even struggle to fill the squad / team for Leeds away.

I know mate I agree. There seems to be absolutely no urgency inside the club to address the issues that need addressing though. It’s the 17th July and we haven’t even attempted to sign a single right winger despite having 0 at the club.
