Other Clubs Transfer Window 2025-2026.

They'll win the PL again as they've strengthened further and no one is anywhere close enough to competing.

Whether they'll challenge the CL this season is another thing.

I’m not sure, I think they got away with a lot last season that meant no one could get really close. Even then an Arsenal team with no front line stayed in the race a good while. They let in too many teams behind them under Slot and got punished for it in the cups. Beto gave them a field day in both games and we should have done the double over them. Top teams shouldn’t be doing this vs average sides. If Alisson isn’t on it or teams just finish their chances they’ll concede a lot, perhaps even more if Wirtz is in midfield rather than the front line and one of their more defensive midfielders drops out.

The hope is that City start well with Rodri back and Cherki supplying Haaland and then and Arsenal fight it out between them.

Also he may well turn out to be a very good striker but 80 mill on a Elitike with a less than 1 in 2 goal record in the bundesliga is a bit of a risk. Haaland was almost a goal a game for comparison.

They are set up to dominate for the next decade in all honesty. They’re the best run club in world football. People are doing themselves no favours convincing themselves the likes of Arsenal are going to be overtaking them any time soon.

Were Arsenal ever within 4 points of them at any point in the run in? They didn’t even enter the race, let alone stay in it.

In the last few seasons alone they’ve bought an 80 mill pound striker that they now don’t want. They turned down a massive fee from Saudi for him in January only to now find they’re scrabbling around for half their money back. They’re about to spend over 80 mill on another striker with even less pedigree than Nunez. Meanwhile Solanke who was on their books and overlooked is leading the line for Spurs and valued at 60 mill.

They’ve allowed Alexander Arnold to run down his contract and leave for nothing and had to cave in to offer massive wages to Salah and Van Dijk to players approaching mid 30s. Konate is entering his final year and wants a move. They’ve currently got 3 left backs on the books after buying Kerkez and then finding that neither Robertson or Tsimikas wants to leave.

They’ve allowed Trent Wijnaldum Can Clyne Milner Lallana Keita (60 mill Lol) Origi Thiago Matip Firmino Oxlade Chamberlain Sturridge Moreno Markovic Balotelli to all leave on a free transfer. That’s right, apart from the nominal fee they got to release Trent early they’ve not received a single pound for that entire list combined.

They made a sentimental decision to expand Anfield which has left them landlocked in a residential area when all their rivals have/are moving to new stadiums that can generate revenue all year round.

They’re a very good team who have won some trophies recently but some people don’t half go overboard on them. ‘Set up to dominate for a decade’ ‘best run club in world football’. Give over. They’re just a very rich club that have a ton of revenue that allows them to buy who they want. That’s it. Give it long enough and Chelsea will probably be back winning trophies again for exactly that reason and they’ve been a shambles.

When you’ve got unlimited money you only have to wait around long enough and throw enough mud at the wall and it will stick. United in their worst ever period of being a total laughing stock have won the Europa league, the FA Cup twice and the league cup twice just by throwing money at a roulette wheel of players and managers.

Is it Klopp’s Jesus juice or their unlimited funds that are the reason they’re going to win the league by 10 points again this season? Are they due to cycle off this season or next?

You’re acting like it’s Ferguson’s United winning the title nearly every season. This alongside your meltdown in the transfer thread.

Have a day off. You’ve completely stained the sheets here way too early.

I don’t see anyone other than City taking a title from them for the foreseeable future. Chelsea are a mess and operate more as a footballer trading centre than a serious club these days, Arsenal are going backwards under Arteta from a position of already being miles behind. United and Spurs are joke institutions ran by clowns.

In the next 10 years they will win at least 4 league titles plus many cups. It’s better to just deal with it now for your own sanity, or you could continue to live on your own planet where anything they do win is part of a grand conspiracy by the ghost of Bob Paisley who runs football.

Nobody’s having a “meltdown” in the transfer thread from what I can see, I’ve simply very calmly stated that I believe we won’t sign anybody until August. If you see that as a meltdown because it’s what you don’t want to believe then that says more about you than me.

Well we’ll see. If we start the game against Leeds with no new signings in the 11 and Liverpool go on to dominate football for the next decade then you can say you were right to get het up about it in the middle of July 25 before a ball is kicked.
