If it's a €10m down payment and an initial loan it would suggest Juve would be in a huge hurry to get a deal done, and that's before agreeing terms with the player. Though you would assume they would be ok there if they got to the stage where a bid was accepted.

I dislike lots of RS , i mean really dislike , but I despised Hughes. That tragic shout of his had a huge impact on my childhood and I honestly think started the decline of relations between the clubs .

Hard for me to say as a non-Scouser but your summary sounds pretty fair to me. I just remember as a kid having lots of RS fans about and a few Man Utd so me and my mate supported Everton as we liked the name and the blue kit. Helped Everton were starting to win things too being the glory hunter kids we were haha. Ohh and of course I share the same surname as Howard too
