I love transfer lingo, us making an enquiry is the most decisive step, what have the other interested clubs done? Sent their mates over to ask for them?

on re-read the other teams and us all "made enquiry's" but us being the decisive front runners are actually moved on the 'considering' step

Oddly, Royal Blue Mersey's daily roundup of Everton news claimed that Everton wasn't interested in Luiz after all, but the Daily Fail article they linked to made no mention that I could see.

If you poke around for any recent posts about Luiz without adding Everton to the search, you seed a hodge podge of sites all claiming at the same time that West Ham, Leeds, Man United, Spurs and Everton are each leading the race and about to sign him. No one knows anything, and just about everyone who wants their club to be linked is going to find that he is when they look for it.
