Kay was well known and well liked in our local town with running a business there with my son. Everybody in our pub and elsewhere. asks about her on a daily basis and I will ensure that everyone knows and spreads how badly she was treated just because of her Alzheimer’s. I know this sounds bitter and twisted but she spent a couple of decades helping others in the town and I’ll be damned to see her treated this way when she needs support the most… anyway I’ll be changing her in the next hour so no sleep for me until afterwards. God I love my wife…..

And she loves you back Pete . Remember that hate only hurts one person not the right person , Confucius ,who also said " Man who eats meat and peas on same plate is unhygienic .Best verbally .
 
Good morning all on this sparkling day here thunderstorms again yesterday which serve to increase the humidity and make us glow a little more .
I bought a different shower gel last week and used it yesterday ,when I went outside I was bombarded with elk flies and had to go inside to shower it off ! They take a bite out of me which is visible but no sting but the wife gets lumps after a bite ,which meant she was delighted I had lured them all away ! So nice to hear Mr F is back home where he belongs and on the mend .

The match last night was OK in my opinion and the club video worked faultlessly ,TFG effect ? I hope they can do the same with the pressers as it would be great to hear the questions and not just the answers ,although that might make it less boring as it can be quite fun trying to guess the question while manager spouts the same old answers out -more Dyche than Moyes .

Bit slow on the transfer front isn't it, not what I expected if I'm honest, I feel like it's time we could use to bed people in, instead of being undercooked at the start of the season again.

I got grossed out the other day, I cooked a pork crackling joint and cut it in half to save half, I covered it with foil but not completely, I left a little gap to let heat out, then when I went back after eating to wrap it up, as soon as i touched it 2 bloody flies sprung out. I was shocked as I'd only left a small gap. I chucked it, the thought of maggots in my tummy wasn't nice lol

Just protein T ,I am sure the oven would have sorted the flies out ! Have you finished downloading yet as I have been holding my breath ? How are you feeling ?

It was already cooked blue. Still downloading games, taking time as I'm playing as well. I'm not to bad, had my meds increased but haven't picked it up yet, I think they definitely helped with the headaches.
 
@Terrarian ugh maggots. I would have chucked it too. Glad you are feeling better,I hope the meds help.
@peteblue Im so glad Kay's hair appointment went well.
Today has been " introduce Frankie to Everton' day. I played Spirit of The Blues and Forever Everton to him and we looked at some pictures. He loved the music. It's never too early🤣.
The weather has been lovely today. No more rain.

I throw food out if I think flies have been on it, apart from anything else you’ve no idea what they’ve been crawling on. Pleased to hear the meds seem to be helping.

Bring them up right, sadly I seem to have failed in that direction. Three have show zero interest in football. There is hope though, Hannah has given up Mixed Martial Arts in favour of joining a football team and is very keen at the moment. Whether she’s so enthusiastic in the wet and cold remains to be seen….

Good for you Pete, it sounds like they just stopped doing Kay’s hair for no valid reason, if this is the case they need calling out for their actions for this
