Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

So a rumour emerges about Everton possibly signing a decent player and its "Believe it when I see it lad", "Not until he is wearing the shirt and holding the scarf lad". But when a rumour, no matter how flimsy emerges about a possible bid for a player that we deem too old or not very good and its "Can't believe we are definitely signing this player, Moyes out, Friedkins out, relegation 100% nailed on lad". Do I have this right?

I can absolutely guarantee you don't get this carry on with any other fanbase.

I don't know why we are the way we are.

Too much scar tissue.

Previous transfer windows have been mediocre at best, many of which have resulted in slow starts to the season.

I appreciate that Thelwell was financially constrained.

Even when we had cash to spend, Dutch fraud Koeman and glorified PE teacher Steve Walsh bought the biggest pile of dung in football history including multiple slow, balding number 10s.

Most of my family are Celtic fans.

Their fanbase is exactly the same as ours at the minute, losing their mind at the year on year slow progress and apparent lack of ambition in their transfer dealings, except they've had 20 years of domestic dominance
