Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Apologies if someone has already mentioned but with Arsenal getting madueke as a saka understudy I wonder if nwaneri could be available for a loan.
They won’t want him to stagnate by not playing any football

I thought he was a right back or left back. Or am I thinking of someone else.
He played left back a lot last season (and I thought he was a real find for them), but you know what City are like with their full backs - they play midfielders there all the time as Guardiola values them being good with the ball.

No idea what he'd be like as a left back in a team like ours where he'd need to defend more conventionally

They're also including a 16 year old in their 1st team squad this season who plays the same position. I forget his name, but he's supposed to be the next big thing for his age. I genuinely don't get the Madueke thing

We should 100% be going for O'Reilly and moulding him into a number 8. Amazing attributes and super young.

The reason he's been shifted around at left and right back is because he's good at everything and two footed.

He'll be a top top player imo.

We have had a long standing interest though. Think it will be interesting to see what happens. If we don't bid, I think we can hope for an exciting wing addition, if we do, it will suggest that we are being knocked back by better targets imo.

There's talent there, but I hope we can get in better.

Hutchinson is predominantly a left sided player, who CAN play of the right or through the middle as secondary positions. We already have players who can do a job on the right at a push but are better in their natural positions elsewhere.

Just how hard can it be to scout, and sign a natural right winger ffs? This has been going on for years now and is starting to grate.

He’s athletic and looks strong. Like @toffeeblue9 just said, a good City team and an Everton team are two different things. Moyes would expect him to work, but like you say, young enough to mold.
Definitely fits the bill I think.

Really hoping the Harrison rumours are just that. If it meant waiting until the end of August to get a better right sided player I'd rather we done that.

I dont really want to see the names Keane and Harrison starting games in 2026.
The bits and pieces I read in the media made it fairly clear Moyes didn’t consider Harrison as part of his plans. Suspect our name being bandied about through agents maybe. He’s obviously looking for a move away from Leeds and they want rid.

I just can’t see how he ends up back here.
