A woman a few houses down worked for one of those phone businesses (and I do not mean clubcall). Her voice was a 9. The rest more of a 5. That inside knowledge saved me from any such teen temptations.

My gran put a padlock on the dial cos of clubcall.. had to scuttle her purse for coins and hit the local phone box after that, barely got past the opening gambit with two twenty pences

No. I'm saying most other clubs we aspire to get close to have a handful of players on their books who, if played week in, week out, you'd back to get into double digits for the season. We cannot claim that at Everton. We need a fourth striker, to me that's a complete no-brainer of a decision.

I agree on us also needing better in terms of full backs and wingers, and hopefully that would draw more out of other players.

That's also why I didn't put another striker at the top of our priorities list, but I would hope we're looking to bring one in still.

Why don’t we build a strong first 11 before we worry about 3 backups for every position?
Expectation like yours contribute to a July transfer expectation meltdown I’ve not witness in this forum in a long long time.
