So I don’t disagree with you but your talking as a member and to members of a forum supporting a football team and the majority of posters can have zero impact on that teams performance or results . The only ones that can , at best, can shout and sing encouragement.

Needless stress felt for and caused by a team we basically can’t have any impact on is what makes this place tick .

So much more nuance than that I think. TBH, we’re ‘only’ on 27.5 this financial year, potentially 31.5 when Travers signs. Over 4 year contracts and including wages that’s around the £10m mark spent this year. I don’t think Friedkins have a cash flow worry and we are surely well within PSRA limits so I’d expect a few more signing yet

Oh yeah i don’t think think be an issue having the money, just convincing the better players were a team progressing

Transfer windows are kinda like waiting for a pan of water to boil though. And then you end up missing it anyway when you nip to the bog!

Pretty much yeah. You pick up the phone, you call the club, you say how much for Douglas?. They say 25m, we say would you take 20m, they say yes/no. It’s only ever us who make a bloody meal out of every single transfer.
