Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Being reported that we have offered Juventus a loan with option to buy deal for Douglas Luis, with us paying 10m euros for the loan and 30m euros to make it permanent. This is because if Juve accept less than 40m euros for him it will be shown as a loss accounting wise

Sportswitness
It must be true so

Sports witness just translates a non language publication so it all depends on the source of the story they're interpreting

Struggling to see our contemporary approach in the front office regarding deals on the burner. Either we are now having to get financially creative with deals or we are getting rinsed as we have no more firepower left as soon as Moyes has identified his target.

Speaking to the bigger deals.
Dont struggle
Just let the lads in the front office get on with their jobs
My advice is
Hang the sheets out to dry , take the dog for a walk and talk to a member of the opposite sex

The one thing we all basically unanimously agreed on post-Moshiri was that we needed a change in approach and to be more patient and responsible with our money.

Obviously now when it's actually time to do that people are reverting to type, and we need to just SIGN PLAYERS NOW and FORGET NEGOTIATING JUST PAY THE MONEY EVERTON.

Mad that people can be burned so badly and learn no lesson whatsoever.
Some people say drinking your own urine is good good for you
They obviously forgot to mention that sleeping in one’s own urine soaked sheets is bad for you
You sit are correct
People never learn , they want it all and they want it now

I'm still not completely sold on any of the players that have been linked for the right wing position. Bakayoko was the one I think would have been best suited.

Doak: Injury issues
McAtee: more a no 10
Fellows: Lacks pace and one dimensional
Hutchinson: overrated and better on the left
Kubo: Can he adapt to the premier league?

Glad I'm not doing the scouting. I'd be dithering more than Moyes!
Agree Bakayoko could’ve been ideal, always a long shot at that price.

thinking back to Moyes comments back at the end of the season about wanting future international players, I reckon we’ll be looking closer to home for purchases. Just my reading of his comments. Definitely potential risks with all the players mentioned but also upsides. I also don’t think fellows is as limited or as slow as has been suggested.

Aside from bakayoko, do you have players in mind you’d want to see on wing?
