I'm still not completely sold on any of the players that have been linked for the right wing position. Bakayoko was the one I think would have been best suited.

Doak: Injury issues
McAtee: more a no 10
Fellows: Lacks pace and one dimensional
Hutchinson: overrated and better on the left
Kubo: Can he adapt to the premier league?

Glad I'm not doing the scouting. I'd be dithering more than Moyes!

You know the old saying that if you want something doing you've got the option of Good/Quick/Cheap but you can only pick two, this is the exact scenario in transfer windows. There are ones who hit all three but they're pretty rare and it's often down to luck.

I think it's going to be a hard summer for different reasons. We will most likely always be buying our second choice as that first choice is just a wee bit above where we are at currently. Hopefully a strong season will address that so next summer we will be able to push more.

If we want to get creative at right wing we could try for the young Aussie lad Nestory Irankunda (19) who is a Bayern B player and was on loan at Grasshoppers last season. He would be a developmental option more than a day one starter but he has high upside. Roma player Matias Soule would be a good option but we would need TFG to get creative and have us help them on something in return.

Irankunda is literally about to sign for Watford. Unless he pulls an Odemwingie...
