The next three weeks or so will tell all. In terms of doing deals, I'm sure there will be activity right up to the end of the window but it's coming towards crunch time now as to how things will look at kickoff.

I can't imagine Moyes joining in January, finding out how easy stuff at the club was being leaked and not nipping it in the bud.
Just have to look at the proper rumours around. Barry was one, Travers came out of nowehere, Alcaraz in Jan came out of nowhere. I think we're quite secure now. Only have to read the weekly pointless Athletic articles popped out which show they're really scratting round for info these days.
