Pre Season Matches.

sounds similar to what Newcastle are doing. If your ticket isn’t used for 5 games across the season, it is terminated for the subsequent season and you become ineligible to renew.

They are trying to maximise profit by ensuring tickets are sold and seats are filled which means more people purchasing stuff in the stadium.

however I don’t like people feeling forced into having to spend more money when they have already shelled out tonnes for the original season ticket.

The seats are sold when the season ticket is bought, and most lids who can`t make a game will do their best to get someone else to use it, either by selling it on the club resale platform, flogging it to someone on here, or just giving it to someone who`s a friend or family member. I think they would prefer to minimize the amount of ST holders and get more day trippers in as they are the ones that are more likely to come out of the club shop with a couple of hundred quids worth of shopping and then fork out more for food in the ground.

Well, it said that pre-season matches weren't included at the time I bought mine.
