So the result of the storms last night has reduced our internet speed to around 1 mb and we pay for 150mb so it must have hit the local mast .No IPV just youtube and surfing .
I also watched. A total nostalgia fest. I still love, for cheesy pop awesomeness, Mick Jagger and David Bowie covering Dancing In The Street.Watching Live Aid @40 tonight with Mrs bl , what a day that was and it's bringing back great memories . It’s great seeing @Barnfred 55 and @Armaghtoffee ‘s enthusiasm for modern bands but Mrs bl summed it up earlier with “ I can’t see them showing today’s modern artists on tv in 40 years time” . A golden era , but of course we move on.
Great cast. Great cinematography. And insanely bonkers. If you haven’t already seen it, I recommend the Banshee of Inisherin as a film to watch. I spent my morning watching that with a fan blowing beautifully cold air around me. No matter what the weather man says, I think it’s warmer today than yesterday.
It has got me thinking about island life and whether I could do it. I have no plans to do it but I admire what must be a tremendous sense of community.Great cast. Great cinematography. And insanely bonkers.![]()

Honestly mate. In 40 years time there will be people posting something similar about today's music. Music, and art in general is all about the moment/rime you are in. I just make it my mission to be in that moment. Its what keeps me going to be honest.Watching Live Aid @40 tonight with Mrs bl , what a day that was and it's bringing back great memories . There is no point in seeing where music has been, it’s all about where it’s going.Honestly mate. In 40 years time there will be people posting something similar about today's music.
