What Did You Last Eat Thread

Chocolate Angel Delight ; two years out of date, but it tasted lovely. :) Probably due to the fact that the main ingredient is sugar, with other sugars included - nea !

Ingredients

I was gonna cough up that I had 8 rashers bacon and 4 fried eggs in two pittas with butter (real) and HP for breakfast. Then I was gonna explain how I'd learned my heat lesson and have a litre of choco yahoo in for pre bed hydration. But you've got this. I believe in you. I found a 200g bar of milk chocolate that had gone awol and I've not put it in the fridge because it felt a bit squishy. If it's the Mona Lisa I'll pic it when it sets.

I've just made some refrigerator chocolate chip biscuit dough. Its in the fridge overnight so it firms up, then slice it into biscuits and bung in the oven for 10 mins. I wonder if it's the same thing as the 'cookie dough' they eat in the land of the mad ? of

Anyway, if I had any ice cream I'd crumble some of the biscuits into it. But I don't, so I won't, but your chocolate, chopped up into some sounds rather tasty.

Recipe please? x
Pretty straightforward...

1 cup oat, almond etc milk (I use oat)
1 1/2 cup pecans (will depend on your thickness liking)
2 tsp/to taste Vanilla extract (imitation vanilla is 🤢 in most recipes)
1 1/2 tbsp/to taste (guesstimate, I've always eyeballed it) Honey or Agave syrup (personally, I liked the flavour of the agave better but you may have some outrageous raw honey for sale near you, honey flavour is regional)
1 tsp Cinnamon (up to you/personal taste)

After making it a few times I'm thinking you could use it like Nutella too...toast/bagels etc depending on thickness. I've also been thinking about adding a small amount of an instant Espresso (such as Nescafe Gold Blonde here) might add a bit extra if you don't mind coffee. As I was tasting with Lauren the first time I made it, she said it'd make a hell of an additional layer to a chocolate mousse cake so I told her, since she's obviously volunteering, she could make one for Thanksgiving. "Maybe I will!" You go, little trooper.

All blenders should work as pecans are soft but smoothness (Vitamix hallmark) will vary with blender.

Enjoy! \m/

This is the consistency out of the Vitamix...I'm glad the little Rubbermaid container I used has a tight seal as I'm sure it dries out pretty fast. This batch is 2 days old, I think. It separates a little but nothing a little spoon mixing can't solve like with a natural peanut butter.
