I come on here to defend myself from the same 6/7 people who think it’s ok to throw abuse or spin narratives for no apparent reason. I’ve read so many lies on here that it’s an absolute disgrace at times.

Regarding why I don’t reply a lot is because I have a family, a job, a 6 month old baby and time is important. I read an awful lot and choose to sometimes pipe up when things are becoming out of order. I don’t see any other journalist (who all sit behind paywalls) or ITK getting the abuse or same questions labelled at them as I do and I still tweet an awful lot of information on Twitter when I could just not bother.

Anyway, got nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything is my motto and on that note I hang my hat up on this forum and won’t be coming on again. I have always tried to be civil on here and polite but won’t be wasting my time any further.

Haters gonna hate mate, can’t let them stop you from doing your thing or they win. It’s more about them than it is about you, so don’t take it to heart and I wouldn’t feel the need to defend myself, everyone’s a warrior when it’s behind a keyboard.

This place would be crap if Everton were any good.

Forums are just like any other social media such as twitter aka X. There will always be negative comments. In one ear and out the other. You only have to look at the link stickied at the top of this thread to see what the majority of members have voted. You are classed as Tier 1. There is no higher Tier so you don't need to defend yourself and definitely don't need to leave because of it. I would have left years ago if i took every negative comment to heart. Thank you for highlighting and profiting how badly Everton fc have been run and aren’t we glad you decided to leak info to the world and our opponents .

Just people who want a professionally run competent efc , not a disshelved mess of a club that leaks everything out for everyone else’s benefit except our own

Why’s that his fault that the clubs been a mess?? I don’t particularly care either way but how he makes his money is his business, if you don’t like it don’t pay.

Theres a massive difference between people who put themselves in debt to learn journalism, start at the bottom and work their asses off to get to the top of their industry. To the point that they are trusted enought to be given information by the clubs (which is where they get their info) to relay back to the fans.

Theres a world of difference to that and then some bloke whos charging his own fans to hear any information he gets of his mate. Which btw as much as we all love hearing the information, can actually have a negative effect on the transfers if it gets out too early.

Correct. There has been actual blues who have had information directly handed to them about incoming and outgoing transfers, board changes etc on this very fine forum and never charged a single penny for it.

Being badly ran and people posting reliable information are not mutually exclusive. There are 19 other clubs in the PL and every single one of them has reliable sources that post information before the official club does. Ditto the lower leagues. It has been like that for donkeys years, more so in recent years with the rise of social media. We are better ran now but you will never stop information coming out and i am glad because it would be awfully boring without it.
