Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Moyes will be doing post-match interviews starting from Tuesday's game. Obviously he won't deal in specifics but it should be possible to get an idea if anything is imminent.

The peak period will probably be when they're in the states, though people's patience will be sorely tested if there isn't much happening between now and then.
Cant sign players in America mate, expect nothing till we get back.

I imagine he'll be re-setting expectations from his previous elite players for an elite stadium and rather suggesting we need to do sensible business and don't have a whole lot of money left to play with due to PSR.

I tweet an awful lot when I could just deactivate. The podcast is an Everton Channel that covers a wide range of stuff including my bits. That’s all. What’s the issue? It’s no different to any other football content.

I come on here to defend myself from the same 6/7 people who think it’s ok to throw abuse or spin narratives for no apparent reason. I’ve read so many lies on here that it’s an absolute disgrace at times.

Regarding why I don’t reply a lot is because I have a family, a job, a 6 month old baby and time is important. I read an awful lot and choose to sometimes pipe up when things are becoming out of order. I don’t see any other journalist (who all sit behind paywalls) or ITK getting the abuse or same questions labelled at them as I do and I still tweet an awful lot of information on Twitter when I could just not bother.

Anyway, got nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything is my motto and on that note I hang my hat up on this forum and won’t be coming on again. I have always tried to be civil on here and polite but won’t be wasting my time any further.
Rise above it fella, just pop them on ignore and keep sharing what you can.

We are working against it a bit still for sure. We do have some £££s Maybe that's the frustrating bit for sections of our fanbase. The truth is having the ££s isn't quite enough with other restraining factors in play too.

Ideally yes we are bringing another 7/8 in by end of window

Even the next signing. It will then be who else are we signing.

As @Goat quite rightly said Moyes and the Commitee are responsible for recruitment so all we can do is let them get on with it.

In the meantime, we'll crack a few jokes in here and suggest realistic or unrealistic targets in equal measure.

I do agree, we can get the 7 probably with loan spots, but I am fully aware we can't get 7 players for 20m each. And the rebuild is not a one window project.

They have clearly to consider carefully where is the focus:

Ideally we get a RB, but we have personnel there (not top quality), but to find a back up GK, LB and options for RW and CM for me are still above the list.

There are indicators on an approximate budget, but it's a -/+ 15m number we can guess.

He was confidently predicting 3 arrivals in January until he suddenly dropped it to one player that he wasn’t even fussed on at the time.

€10 million loan fee and €30 million obligation for Luiz is exactly the wrong type of deal for someone aged 27. We need to be looking at finding the next one, younger with real value
I dunno, he only turned 27 in May, reckon he would still have one big transfer left in the next 3 years if he did the business here, so it wouldn’t all be down the drain potentially.

Totally agree..

Who'd own a football club hey? 🤣

It will be very interesting to see what tier of loan is on offer . Anything at or above Akcaraz and Mangaka quality and we will be ok subject to the key positions being filled as well 😊
