Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Yeah, it's the truth that we still need about 7 players. RW surely number 1 now.

Bakayoko and Kubo seem 2 good options for a reasonable price.

Bakayoko seems to have a few good clubs in Germany as a choice. Unfortunately, Forest this season has the advantage to convince players with European football, and with Elanga going probably also a almost guaranteed starting spot for someone his quality.

I have doubts that the Europa League would be a pull factor. I'd agree with this notion if Forest were/will be European regulars, but this is their first time in Europe since 1996 and I think their venture will be brief.

IT will be to some players, an often overlooked aspect of European football is more money in players pockets, via bonuses and sponsorship.

We are working against it a bit still for sure. We do have some £££s Maybe that's the frustrating bit for sections of our fanbase. The truth is having the ££s isn't quite enough with other restraining factors in play too.

Ideally yes we are bringing another 7/8 in by end of window

Even the next signing. It will then be who else are we signing.

As @Goat quite rightly said Moyes and the Commitee are responsible for recruitment so all we can do is let them get on with it.

In the meantime, we'll crack a few jokes in here and suggest realistic or unrealistic targets in equal measure.

I dont know why people are saying we have no PSR issues and have loads of money.

Agreed. Despite the European play, they're still losing many of their best players. If they recruit other good players, it will be based more on money.

Makes sense but you never know with Demis Roussos - he seems to be a very stubborn man.
I think he’ll keep throwing money at Forest until he keels over or is jailed.

Moyes will be doing post-match interviews starting from Tuesday's game. Obviously he won't deal in specifics but it should be possible to get an idea if anything is imminent.

The peak period will probably be when they're in the states, though people's patience will be sorely tested if there isn't much happening between now and then.
