Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Can’t argue with this.

We fall into this trap every season.

Previously we could use lack of money and PSR as an excuse for being slow in the market.

I thought we’d have a bit more breathing space now but it seems we are still awful at recruiting players.
Well we still have no money and PSR is still a factor.

We aren't Chelsea.

I don't know about you guys but I am sick of reading Everton have a huge amount to do this season and nothing happens, I am also sick of reading Everton are in
contention for this player or that player and again nothing happens. I suppose I should not be surprised with diddering Dave in charge, as I've said before he did not get that name for nothing.

I tweet an awful lot when I could just deactivate. The podcast is an Everton Channel that covers a wide range of stuff including my bits. That’s all. What’s the issue? It’s no different to any other football content.

I come on here to defend myself from the same 6/7 people who think it’s ok to throw abuse or spin narratives for no apparent reason. I’ve read so many lies on here that it’s an absolute disgrace at times.

Regarding why I don’t reply a lot is because I have a family, a job, a 6 month old baby and time is important. I read an awful lot and choose to sometimes pipe up when things are becoming out of order. I don’t see any other journalist (who all sit behind paywalls) or ITK getting the abuse or same questions labelled at them as I do and I still tweet an awful lot of information on Twitter when I could just not bother.

Anyway, got nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything is my motto and on that note I hang my hat up on this forum and won’t be coming on again. I have always tried to be civil on here and polite but won’t be wasting my time any further.
Well in mate. People do appreciate you. Don’t let the haters win.

And so the loons on this forum drive another one off

What do you think Would have happened had 777 or wander took over? Worse…..way worse

Who do you think we’d have been sold off to if we’d gone into administration? Not the Friedkins, I’ll tell you that for free.

Esk didn’t just advocate for administration, he described as an “inevitability”. He built his entire brand off the back of our financial woes, back when he used to do his “Everton business matters” podcast with John Blain (which he did charge for btw)

Don't fret we are a stealth bombers.. no one knows until we strike
We are zooming into targets as we speak..just still mulling over which ones

The market for affordable players has never been bigger or more accessible.

We have no excuses being this slow in the market when you consider how weak the squad is.
No we are not Chelsea but we were promised a fair bit of money after the takeover and with no problem about PSR where are the promised signings.

Guys this is the worst time as an Evertonian I can remember we’ve just secured extensions to our most important players signed a couple of exciting young talents and have five weeks left until the season starts with new owners who have money to spend. What they playing at? It’s a disgrace. NSNO lads.
It's not the worst time as an Evertonian...summer is the best time when we don't lose.
I'm having a relaxing few beers right now celebrating another weekend without heartbreak
