Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I'm desperate for link, I'll send you a fivers worth of Fartcoin.
Is it bottled to retain strength if so copyright the term before the.vultures circle, to coin a phrase.

Your coin sounds much more interesting than what appears to be broken dosh in Bitcoin.

Maybe a market Everton can tap into to boost the kitty. Or have they already paid for Keanes wages in Fartcoin. I wonder ?

We really need to be making moves on multiple fronts as soon as possible otherwise another pathetically slow start to the new season awaits us, leaving us playing catch up to teams we should be miles ahead of.

Who wants the best for the club and has been right consistently about the absolute chancers who have wanted to come in and destroy us ,it’s weird to me your loyalties lie with the likes of wander and Textor

They’ve been proven to be dangerous owners

Esk gets pelters for not wanting that and that causes an issue for you

I tweet an awful lot when I could just deactivate. The podcast is an Everton Channel that covers a wide range of stuff including my bits. That’s all. What’s the issue? It’s no different to any other football content.

I come on here to defend myself from the same 6/7 people who think it’s ok to throw abuse or spin narratives for no apparent reason. I’ve read so many lies on here that it’s an absolute disgrace at times.

Regarding why I don’t reply a lot is because I have a family, a job, a 6 month old baby and time is important. I read an awful lot and choose to sometimes pipe up when things are becoming out of order. I don’t see any other journalist (who all sit behind paywalls) or ITK getting the abuse or same questions labelled at them as I do and I still tweet an awful lot of information on Twitter when I could just not bother.

Anyway, got nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything is my motto and on that note I hang my hat up on this forum and won’t be coming on again. I have always tried to be civil on here and polite but won’t be wasting my time any further.
That’s a shame mate, always appreciate your input on here. I’d say don’t let them have the satisfaction, but totally understand. Enjoy your family, life’s short.

I know Paul quite well and we argued about that a fair bit.

His background is private investment and seem from the perspective of a private equity person that was the route to the club being acquired as cheaply as possibly with many suitors competing. He believed we would get good owners (be it with him or Andy Bell or other blues as part of a new ownership) but I thought they’d get out muscled by PE spivs.

As a Finance executive I saw all the job losses, turmoil and risks of ending up with vulture capitalists only interested in the real estate (stadium) and not the team. I wanted a genuine investor with enough cash to stabilise the finances and try to run us properly but recognised that they were in short supply. I confess I thought we’d missed the boat.

Thankfully TFG were ultimately willing to come back in and put down a lot of cash to pay Moshiri, pay-off bad lenders and improve the balance sheet with new equity. They were then able to refinance leaving the club with significant but manageable and cost effective long term debt.

It was a better outcome than I dared hope for or that Paul dreamed was possible. We got very lucky in the end. Administration was always a terrible outcome but it would have been better than bankruptcy and that had become a real possibility.

What this utter clown (The Esk) has to do with Everton transfers? Are we signing Witsel finally?

Mate, you’ve quoted me about 3 times. I’m not really arsed and don’t suck off any of these internet blues.

But I know administration was the least favourable outcome of any. By far.

Can’t argue with this.

We fall into this trap every season.

Previously we could use lack of money and PSR as an excuse for being slow in the market.

I thought we’d have a bit more breathing space now but it seems we are still awful at recruiting players.

I was going to ask but checked instead. In Moyes 1st window of his first spell our last signing was done on 22nd July 2002. That fact had escaped me and long forgotten. Did ok that season.

The RW this time around is the one we need minimum before season begins. Ideally though 2 or 3 more in total before kickoff and then let the rest of the window play out for our loan spots and any remaining positions.
