I could be wrong here guys I'm assuming being hostile towards people who are privy to club happenings regardless of whether they charge for additional details will probably deter future insiders from posting but continue to vent your animosity

I personally dont think its being hostile to voice concerns abou the legitimacy of information coming for someone whos whole business model revolves around selling information.

Meaning they're incentivised to either make up or embellish information in order to make money off it.

Also he doesn't come on here to share the information hes privy too. Just to argue the toss whenever anyone has anything less then positive to say about him.

Personally im happy to read any information anyone wants to post on here its a bit of fun (even the people who obviously making it up ).

But its when someone starts charing for it i give it the side eye

Not sure which lot are worse the anti bobble lot or his fanboys. Would say put them in a room and fight it out but probably be like looking at a tesco queue during covid with everyone stood two meters apart looking all awkward.

Go donate the few quid to a homeless shelter or something rather than to find out 20 seconds before the rest of us a link that 99% time it doesnt happen.

We all need our transfer fix. Any 3rd choice backup goalkeeper links?

I get why you're perturbed , but would you rather he not divulge any information at all? as he doesn't have to provide that material either. Not everything he discloses is behind a paywall.

Further to this, anything he does disclose behind the paywall get shared by members of this forum or aggregators on Twitter etc. It all filters out eventually.

Bizarre that anybody would get wound up by it, but I suppose that's what happens in the four days between signings during a transfer window

If it wasn’t Bobble it would be someone else because there is demand for it. Like it or not making money from YouTube, podcasts, Patreon etc. is an increasingly legitimate way to make a living these days. My twenty something kids consume far more news and lifestyle information from such routes than from ‘mainstream media’.

We can all choose to consume the content or not but getting on a moral high horse about someone leveraging access and contacts to earn cash via Patreon is as pointless as bemoaning footie fans pursuing old school jobs in sports journalism last century.

Has he ever shared anything that was complete bluster though or is this just cynicism for cynicism's sake?

I recently subscribed to their patreon and some of the info is a bit wishy-washy and non-committal, but there's still some decent insight shared.

The way I'd look at the situation is, this lad is going to get pelters whatever info he shares and however often he shares it, so he may as well try and earn a few quid to make it worth his while.

Isn’t that how the world works?? We live in a capitalist culture of supply and demand. Whilst there is a demand for the information, there will be person/business/journalist who monetises it or builds a career off it.

That’s how the world IS, it most certainly doesn’t WORK for 99.9% of the human population, the planet or any of the animals that live on it.

He emerged when he did. Everybody has to emerge in whatever they do at some point. We're not born into it. Was it opportunistic?, Good fortune?, Hard work? Honestly i don't really care. As for the Kenwright stuff, nobody is perfect. I'm not pro the Bobble but I'm also not anti the Bobble either & i don't care about or follow his mate. When he posts i take it as I read it & hope he tells the truth even if i don't like the topic he is talking about but I always take it with caution. Basically, nice if it's true. His hit rate is high enough that I take an interest.
