For those of a certain age
Years ago you could ring a telephone number for updates on your team
You could spend 5 mins at premium rates to learn that a defender was injured and was out for 6 weeks or so
All this had been reported on the papers 2 days previous
This Patreon seems like a similar thing
Just throw in a few unconfirmed rumours and stories that can’t be disproved and people will sign up

I also find it “quite sad” that someone finds themselves in a privileged position to receive information from a club he, and all of us supports, and then chooses to profiteer from that opportunity by charging fellow blues to his sacred information.

“Nobody is forcing them to subscribe” isn’t a defence of that by the way incase you’re thinking of using it.

I get why you're perturbed , but would you rather he not divulge any information at all? as he doesn't have to provide that material either. Not everything he discloses is behind a paywall.
