I don’t think Lookman was awful for us at all personally, thought he looked like he had loads of potential and I was so annoyed with Allardyce when he loaned him out.

Not to say he would have definitely made it with us, as seemed to have a poor attitude, but he clearly had talent.

Got minutes in 48 games for us. Apart from the City goal how many of those appearances do you remember?

It was Koeman’s fault he wanted to leave in the January, he was already well unhappy by the time Allardyce got here. Koeman was ignoring him in favour of a Sigurdsson, Rooney, Vlasic triumvirate from hell in the attacking midfield positions. It’s more the fact that he came back from the loan spell with a titty lip on him as if we still had Koeman/Allardyce in charge that annoyed me, despite Silva and Brands showing signs that they wanted to use and develop him.

I always rated the lad to be honest, could see there was high potential there with the attributes he had, think he needed a good manager that let him refine his rawness. Could have been great at Everton, either way, he's a 50mill asset for another club now..

Hmm, after the last year or so I’m starting to look at Fabrizio Romano tweets through the lens of an agent these days. The link to Bakayoko is so tenuous it feels like something we might actually be driving to get our main target ((whomever that may be) to make a decision. The games are truly afoot..

I would like to think that we have more going for us than both Bournemouth and Notts Forest, but Notts Forest do have a vacancy on the right-wing and can offer European football. However, Notts Forest can be a little chaotic at times and there is no guarantee that their spell in Europe will continue beyond the upcoming season.

Whereas we are a paragon of stability...
