Crystal Palace and the Europa League

You’ve already illustrated on this thread that you don’t know what the rules are and why the “easy fix” couldn’t work for Palace. Still, enjoy mate.

No mate. You've shown blind loyalty to your club and can't see the faults of them.

It's not on UEFA to sort your club issues out. You had a deadline and didn't bother to act on it.

Yes, Palace not blameless with the admin. but nor are UEFA. They sent the necessary notification to info@CPFC.com (not to any Board member or executive where it would have been picked up),and when they didn’t getting a reply, they sent it to the same email address.
Poor admin? Ban them!
Fair post though.

Hang on... So you are now blaming for UEFA for actually sending you all the info to the only email address they probably had for you and again your club couldn't be bothered to reply to it or sort the info out?

Sorry but you really are showing blind loyalty to your club here.

Accept it. You've got a better chance of winning this comp anyway

What a scummy club Forest are.

Hope they fall through the cracks of the professional football pyramid into non league oblivion.

Forest are odd but not on this. They themselves are part of a multi club system but unlike palace played by the rules and got their house in order.

Palace didn't. They have every right to complain

I mean, they are. Why are you ignoring all the other wanky stuff they’ve done this past season alone?

By “played by the rules” do you mean their slimeball owner moved around his shares just in case Forest got into EL and pretended he wasn’t involved with them anymore?

Yes. That's exactly what he did to play by the rules.

Whats other things got to do with this? I said forest are an odd club. Just not on this issue.

Palace didn't. Because they didn't believe they'd ever win the cup. And they probably shouldn't have won the cup either if it wasn't for a disgraceful decision in the final.

So let's not feel 'sorry' for them

Hmm, you’re a strange poster.

🤣🤣

I feel sorry for Palace and disagree that Forest should replace them. I also think the rule is pathetic.

But that said, the rules are the rules and they could have easily had this sorted. It’s just really really poor club management. And this whole thing around Textor not having a controlling say is just ridiculous. He had 42% of the club. As if he doesn’t have a say in how it’s run.

The most ironic thing about it all is that UEFA allow loan players to play against their parent clubs which I would say is a bigger conflict of interest than ownership.
