Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Wasn’t great last season and plays in a weaker league. The majority of the signings from the Dutch league to the prem over the past few years have Been disastrous. So I’d go for Kubo
Yes that's a worry, Davy Klassen springs to mind. There's been loads. And any Dutch success story tended to come from other leagues.

I reckon those signings may be to set up a sponsorship deal with Toyota. The snippets I have heard about Kubo have been encouraging and Japan have a decent track record in producing talented women's players, so both the mens and womens teams could see improvements off the back of these (proposed) transfers.
Four Japanese players in the womens team seems a little more than coincidence.

I know Lukaku doesn't particularly talk about us like a former club, but hopefully how we gave him a "stage" could feature in any pitch we give to Bakayoko. If Moyes talks directly, he could definitely talk a good game when it comes to Fellaini, too. Then there's Mirallas to a lesser extent.

I would include Onana in this theory of mine, but I'm in the school of thought that his Villa move is still a sideways one. He also didn't really put up any trees so to speak.

We've got to have more going for us than bloody Bournemouth and Forest, surely?
I would like to think that we have more going for us than both Bournemouth and Notts Forest, but Notts Forest do have a vacancy on the right-wing and can offer European football. However, Notts Forest can be a little chaotic at times and there is no guarantee that their spell in Europe will continue beyond the upcoming season.
