Best wishes to Mr F. Get well soon.A belated happy birthday to our Karl. He would love what he has created.
Its been a funny day or so. I have not gone back to work as yet. I can't remember if I told you but I needed a review once my sick note ended. Last sick note was two weeks, ending yesterday. So I phoned on Monday to ask for an appointment to have a review. We can't do that, said the surgery, review appointments are released two weeks in advance. So, my review appointment should have been made when you issued my sick note( online, by phone, no medical input whatsoever). Errm yes, they said, we're sorry about that. Ring on Thursday and we'll give you an appointment. Why can't you give me an appointment for Thursday now? Because we release appointments on a daily basis. I rang yesterday as soon as the surgery opened. No appointments available! Arrrgh! Anyway I've got one later this afternoon. What a palaver...!
In the meantime Mr F came home from work feeling quite ill yesterday. Long story short, after an emergency visit to the same GP, he is now in hospital with cellulitis in his leg. He's on IV antibiotics. I was with him in A and E ( GP called an ambulance) from 4pm to midnight when he got moved to a ward. He's a lot better today. His temperature has come down, his leg is less red and he's hoping to be home tomorrow. Im going in later when it is visiting time.
Can my family please stop being ill!!
Beautiful day here today. I've been sitting in the garden drinking iced coffee. Lovely.
Have a good weekend everyone x
Not me but then I’m no lady.I burst out laughing reading that. Mental how much emphasis a lady places on her nails. They are right of course, just to be clear.
Hope the new stylist is a success, I bet Kay will look stunning. Don’t forget to take care of yourself though.Afternoon guys, I hope you are all keeping well. I’ve had a busy week or two looking after Kay. We thought she had reached rock bottom with her Alzheimer’s behaviour but then comes up with something new to drain our energy levels. She will be getting her hair done at a new stylist next week, I may have mentioned it that the one she’d been going to for years decided they could only deal with cutting her hair and couldn’t cope with colouring due to the way she is. So we shall see how it goes. I asked my son to tell them that I will pay any amount providing they do it. Anyway life moves on…..
I hope he’s feeling better soon @anjelikaferrett and can come home tomorrow- I imagine it’s hell on a ward in this weather. Things do seem to come all at once don’t they.A belated happy birthday to our Karl. He would love what he has created.

It’s lovely that you care for her like this - so thoughtful and as @Armaghtoffee says, and I know it’s a generalisation, but you (I) feel so much better when you’ve had your hair done.Afternoon guys, I hope you are all keeping well. Yes this too. Do men not feel great after a haircut too?I burst out laughing reading that. Mental how much emphasis a lady places on her nails. They are right of course, just to be clear.

Is Grecian 2000 still a thingAll I feel is greyer.

Roll on next Friday -when he’s driving you can get your own back. Hope those ratbags stay away tonight.Evening everyone, Captain Morgan and coke for me tonight. Physio for Mr P today - one crutch outside and none indoors unless he feels he needs it and next Friday he can drive!! It’s just as well really cos if he makes one more remark or gives one more instruction when I’m driving his car the flipping crutch will be wrapped round his neck. Also - and gents you might want to reflect on this - when I’m driving and someone flashes me out does he have to acknowledge/wave to the other driver when I’m quite capable of waving myself
.
Anyway last night the family who live across the road from us had 2 guys try to pinch their car. They put tape over their ring doorbell. Thieving scumbags. The police have been out and said they might come back tonight, so that’s me not sleeping.
Have a lovely evening and a glorious weekend ahead.
