Other Clubs Transfer Window 2025-2026.

It's in the Nature of Forrest's owner to have Levy Assassinated.

He's a bad bad man. šŸ˜„
He is a very bad man, but he wants to be good in his heart...

Kopite levels of bellendery from forest....
You can't put a release clause in then moan when its triggered (unless you're the rs and you can just ignore it)

How can you moan about confidentiality, how else would clubs trigger a clause if its confidential?

And why are they shocked that it was met? You wouldn't bid more than a buy it now on Ebay etc...

No way MGW will be staying there, it will be worse for Forest now. He'll still go, and their tantrum will have been for nothing.

Agents will need to seriously consider offering their players to Forest at this point. He's leaving at this point anyway, they should just allow it regardless of whatever perceived slight they feel.

Agents having a field day with these release clauses. I mean i'm of the opinion if a player wants to go there's little point in keeping them but for the selling club it immediately takes away any negotiating. Maybe 60m at the time seemed high for gibbs white and nobody would touch him at that price. But Forest have had to sit on their hands and do nothing. Cant do anything more to the point. Are these clauses fully implemented by Agents? And are they common knowledge or has the agent tipped off levy in this example.
Will there come a point where every club just goes ok the release clause is 800m.
Release clauses have been common in Spain for as long as I remember. Some clubs have inserted prohibititive clauses over the years. The backlash is then that the players (their agents really) will say ''if there's a superstar release clause, I should be on superstar wages''.

Greed destroys everything in the end.

@Gooner66789

thought's on the arsenal fanbase lynching arteta out

dyche in?
My thoughts are it's very shameful that they take this stand over a signing they don't like but not over the fact their manager and club repeatedly defended the morality and character of a player charged with multiple counts of rape.

Oh and they offered him a new contract too.

That was fine with the Arsenal supporters...

But sign a Chelsea player they don't like? Pitchforks.

There's always quid pro quo. The clubs get something out of the release clauses as well. Perhaps it's a lower salary, perhaps it's a very talented player that otherwise wouldn't go to that club. It's not like they're completely one-sided, everything is negotiated.

How come Bournemouth thought signign £25m Petrovic over £5m Kepa release clause was a good idea? Might push Travers to us faster now though.

Don't know too much about your question in it's totality. But that Petrovic looks a handy signing like. We were heavily linkedin and the stats flying out about his last few seasons were pretty phenomenal. Was really hoping we could get it over the line, but we can't really complete with Bournemouth at the moment like.

@Gooner66789

Any comment on the fact your support has a #NoToMadueke petition out and are apparently spraying Arteta Out messages on murals over not liking a potential signing?

Strange that this is the line for a section of support and not the continual defending of a player charged with numerous counts of rape.
I can understand the frustrations, caving in to chelsea yet again, spending £50m on a gash winger as opposed to a needed #9.

The murals...Ehh I don't care unless it's Rocastle / Thierry / Dennis etc.

No idea why Arteta has a mural, or Josh Kroenke, pathetic really.

Understandable why fans are turning though, but I feel for Noni, kid has hate before he's even in the door.

Threatening to kill the manager / DOF over a transfer is a big no no for me though, it's Abhorrent behaviour, disgusting.
