Ishe Samuel Smith apparently on his way to Strasbourg, Chelsea’s sister club, for £5 million. A great move for his development. Pity we couldn’t sneak in with an offer and convince him to come back to us – he'd be a perfect backup and potentially better than Mykolenko and he can also play on left side of central defence.

Is he all that good? I was left disappointed every time I seen him for Ipswich but first year in the league in a struggling side for a winger must be difficult.

Played great the first half of the U21's final. Seemed to disappear second half though once Germany woke up.

We won't sign him, but if we did i think you'd have a change of heart. His tenacity and energy are way beyond anything we've currently got or had in recent years.

He has very limited ability on the ball and no positional sense. He does run around a lot though. Palace is his level.

That's because Moyes puts in the hard yards , does the scouting properly etc., until he is pretty sure.
