I have been very very happy with Moyes since he returned. Both with the results and also his comments. However, I hope the owners are already working on plans for the post Moyes era in 2-3 years time. Lay the foundations for a young manager to come into the club and take us forward.

Interesting watch...his fella was heavily involved in our takeover, and gives abit of insight into it.

We come up in conversation just over half way through.

The better owners are the most astute ones.
Fenway bought Liverpool for a give away price. They were on the verge of liquidation. Distressed club , below market price gives them time and money for further investment.

I fully expect , rather than hope the Freidkin Group will do the same.

Even more reason to be thankful for TFG coming back to the table
TFG feel like the sensible uncle looking after his sisters kids for the weekend…safe, calm, reliable

Textor is the Crazy Uncle…the kids could be fine and you get them back on Sunday but they could equally be in a&e as he let one jump off the roof just as it looked fun and no one likes the kill joy!

We’ll never know now…but if we start winning we’ll go dodged a bullet.

If we just finish mid table for a few years…a few with think if only the crazy Uncle had taken control!

Fascinating. No pandering to our history.. purely look at the numbers and we were a bargain for the right owner at the right time.
Thats why they are billionaires cold hard decisions, he’s right we are a potential steal.

Established club, in the biggest league in the world, with a brand new ground in a prime location. The foundations of a talented squad…

Get us successful and cash will come rolling in!

It’s getting us successful that will be the challenge, well the league anyway, to put it mildly.

I don’t see why we can’t look to win one of the domestic cups or at least reach a final in a year or so. Ending the trophy drought has to be the aim otherwise what is the point.

We won’t progress if we bring in mediocre filler to boost squad numbers. What we have now, a large part of it can be the squad and any additions should be of the aim to be regular starters who substantially improve us.

Some dismissed Newcastle’s league cup win due to its regression in status over the years ,even so, i would love us to do the same , deep down most of us would.

I’d say the opposite is true about the league cup, the days of Tranmere and Bradford getting to the final are long gone, it’s a serious competition and we need to give it our full attention.

The league cup hasn't regressed, contrary to what some might say it's obviously a very important competition.
