As we know he’s capable of skewing a shot off for a throw in but his pace and power and unpredictability are so hard to play against

The only thing predictable about Beto is if you play a pass in behind the defence he’s already made a run for it!

I’m really excited for Barry but I expect to see a lot of Beto too next season and I expect plenty of goals again!

….very good insight that clip, I think he’s up against Mykolenko who can’t live with him. Raw power but technique keeping his body between defender and ball. The other match-ups a bit more even, Patterson looking better.

Players can impress in training, youngsters can force their way into things.

Beto is staying unless someone comes in with a crazy bid.

He’ll take the pressure off Barry.

Also I don’t think we can afford to lose any more from our threadbare squad until we bring in a number of players.

….i expect he’ll start the first games and it’ll be up to Barry to force his way in. Looking stronger in that area of the team than last season, I assume the plan is to go with a lone striker.
