Ha ha, let’s see how pre season pans out, Barry it’s getting plenty of minutes and if he hits the ground running, then it could easily be him starting, let’s not make out he has a Lukaku infront of him. Moyes only said a few months back that Beto is very raw and that’s fine if you’re 19/20. Not so good if you’re 27

Yes. Decent player bought at a time when the club was in chaos and absolutely nobody was on the same page. Multiple managers with no idea how to use him, and the club with no idea how to look after him. Many changes since then and hopefully everyone is now singing from the same hymn sheet

…I think most posters were keen on Kean, indeed many were keen on Keane at one stage. Posters were less keen on Kean after watching him play and not keen on Keane at all when he started making regular mistakes.

We need pace a player who can cross a ball accurately & a playmaker & a good right back & left back & we have the makings of a good team - fed up of clubs like Chelsea buying players so other clubs can't utilise them - e.g our attempt to sign a no 9 who will probably just sit on the bench from Ipswich in Delap ... etc ...

Couldn't agree more! We all know Delap will be on loan to a club within 6-12 months. Player hoarding like this has to be addressed
