2024/25 Jack Harrison

I've got a very good friend who supports Leeds and he said they (the fans) don't want him back so why on earth would we take him back? Swerve.
If Moyes wants him, it will happen. His numbers are not good, Moyes even said that last season... But he works his socks off and seems a good guy.
To Moyes.. That's huge. Jack will be a squad player, He won't be coming in to start games, rather come on after the new RW gets tired. It's a squad game and having a hard worker about the place hopefully rubs off on others. I don't want his crossing rubbing off though 😩

The bit I don't get with Harrison is that if we took him back now, it would have to be a permananet transfer

He currently earns in the region of £80k to £90k per week in his Leeds contract - even if Leeds ripped that contract up and let him sign for us on a free, he's still going to want the same money (unless his agent is genuinely stupid), but this time we'd be paying him that sort of money (currently somewhere around the 5th highest earner) and having to hand him at least a 2 year contract (possibly more)

Him just being "on a free" and therefore being worthwhile is short-sighted IMO. The only possible way I'd be ok with it is if money really is tight and Leeds agreed to replicate the terms of the loan agreement of the last two years (and even then he'd be nowhere near the top of my list)

The average wage of a PL footballer is 60k a week, monthly its about 260k give or take the month, so that is your ground zero negoating position for anyone.

As a squad player I would take him. Works hard that’s about it. But if we could get him on a free knows the squad even said he enjoyed being here. As it stands we have about 18 players
Of course he enjoyed it here, he’s on 90k and some of our fans praise him for working hard, easiest job In football. I’m hoping Moyes and the rest of the recruitment team, want a bit more from 90k a week wages. I wouldn’t take him on free. We can loan someone late in the widows who would offer more and cost less
