Worked for Southampton and Paul onuachuProbably because if you've got a 35 year old 6ft5" striker up top then your game plan probably involves getting it launched and hitting the big man quite a bit.

Your wife’s a lucky lady!
Good signing this, exactly the profile we need. Hopefully he hits the ground running but he’s young and might need a bit of bedding in time, good luck lad.
Don’t get too invested in new signings these days, Davy Klassen broke me![]()
Or the worst....Could prove to be the best signing we make this summer.
Don’t forget Idrissa staying for two more yearsGet in, Charly, Bazza and big Jarrods new contract is not a bad start at all.
Not sure if already mentioned, but according to the BBC he was playing in the 5th tier just three years ago. Think that says a lot about him, I love stories like that.
Give him some time though, got to get used to our League. It would be wonderful if Barry turns out to be a proper goal scorer. Seems ages since we had one we could rely on
Don't forget the 86 Japanese women we've signed! If you had told me at the end of the season that by July 9th we'd have:
- signing of a promising young striker
- resigned Gana
- signed Branthwaite to a new deal
- signed Charly on a permanent deal
I'd take that in a heartbeat. This has been a good ideation off-season so far. More signings need to be made of course, but I'm pretty excited by this.
Is this a good start? To keep with cherished GOT tradition when we have an exciting signing we must today sacrifice one of our regular posters who either makes a marginally wrong judgement or is subject to a long term vendetta by another poster.
Let us proceed to that moment now please.
Can't see us splurging £30 million bones on a 22-year-old when we desperately need a striker that's learned and honed his craft leading the line next season. Great if we could get a young up-and-comer like this fella though alongside another more proven striker - buying fit the now and the future.
That highlights vid isn't the best (?). I'm getting Doucoure vibes with a sprinkling of Beto with some of those touches... and the studious cuts after he takes a shot are a bit suspect. I suppose he is young so the amount of good things to show are probably more limited. But 40 mill seems a bit steep.
….when the thread is closed because he’s signed for Spurs.
Sorry lads he’s garbage. SELL.
If we spend 40 million on him we definitely won't be making that money back.
I’ve seen very little. But, from the little I’ve seen. I’m nowhere near convinced
I don't think he looks like a 40 million player.Is this a good start?
