Confirmed Signing Thierno Barry

FFS Thierno why not make us all feel old.

"Everton is a big club in the Premier League. They have a good history and good players have played here, like Wayne Rooney and Romelu Lukaku. When I was young I liked to watch these players, now I want to do like these players who have gone before."
My previous cat wasn't much younger. Even my oldest son is older than him. Jeez 🤣

He could grab a bagful of goals next year with service from N'Diaye, Alcaraz and McNeil - let alone the marauding full-backs and wingers we will be signing.

The way he uses his size and strength to turn players and then blitz past them with his pace is very reminiscent of Lukaku/Yakubu.

He could be a very good player. I love that he's confident to take a man on. Beto will run past people and create for himself sometimes and it would be great if Barry does too.

Strikers who have to have the chance laid at their feet every time are not great as we have long seen.

Subtle difference I've noticed and I could be wrong, I usually am, is where Beto is comfortable running onto the ball. Barry is equally happy running onto the ball, but Barry seems comfortable running with the ball, Beto not so.

"Barry completes Everton medical
Latest from Sky Sports News' Vinny O'Connor:

Thierno Barry has completed a medical ahead of his move to Everton.

Barry is finalising a £27m move to the Toffees from Villarreal.

The 22-year-old is highly thought-of after scoring 11 goals and contributing four assists in a breakthrough season in LaLiga."

£27m

just over double what Ekitike was sold for 16 months ago.

Shambles!
You have to page extra for a palindrome. I thought everyone knew that.
