Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Jeez that never crossed my mind, Sunderland maybe..... Seems strange alright Travers accepting a No.2 position. Maybe its a case of wanting to have some level of competition for Pickford.
Well, if Travers is all that, bring on the competition. Everton can't be blamed if they initiate a good succession management process...

Oh no, Sunderland signed some 20 year olds and a winger who scored 2 goals last season!

Anyway, on to players that matter. Whos the next player photographed from afar doing media at HD? Florentino Luis? McAtee? Fellows? Hutchinson?

He can be a nuisance to play against when he is on it...problem is not consisten enough really and that is a lot of money for the occasional good games he has.
Yeah that’s a lot of money for him, Brighton don’t half turn a profit on these lads though, you’ve got to hand it to them.

Same with Sunderland, they’re having a right crack at it with some high profile moves. Most of the guys they’ve bought should hold their value which is good long term planning.

For us, we need a winger with some consistency and end product. Hard to find, but essential for us to kick on. McAtee the right sided Ndiaye I begggg

Hard to tell isnt it as theres some frighteningly bad links and also some good ones too.

I think (and hope!) Barry will become a very effective player for us. But he's not exciting me so much in the sense that he's not taking the team up a level from day 1.

I'd like to see someone around the same age signed who takes the side up a level.

I'm always suspicious when Brighton sell players who still seemingly have more potential to realize. They tend to sell at the player's highest value, and hold when they think they can get more. To me, they must think that Adingra isn't getting any better than he is currently. It's why I'm skeptical about Ferguson.
