Sunderland just keep pulling out signings from everywhere. Adingra from Brighton. Why are we the slowest team in the prem to get signings sorted

Maybe because we are trying to sign better players whose clubs will not sell easily.

I have seen the promoted clubs bringing in lots of players, mostly ones I haven't heard of and quite a few from weaker leagues.

I feel there's a possible movement in here to start the church of Jack Harrison, if he doesn't sign for Everton, people will be able to confirm their belief in God.

Just the thought of Jack Harrison signing is causing a movement here

In recent years we have seen lots of clubs signing a large number of players, apart from Forest it rarely works and is far from ideal .

That iswhy DM is trying to keep as many as possible from last season at the club.

I rate some of their signings, I spoke to a Sunderland fan on this very site about that, but it can work both ways for them.

Who was the lad Burnley signed from Belgium that was player of the year? I don't even think he got a start under Kompany.

I don't think Everton have ever paid money for a second choice keeper in all my time watching them. Maybe for someone who was supposed to be number 1 but ended up getting dropped but for a clear 2nd choice i don't think so. On that basis the idea of us suddenly signing someone for £10m (who is absolutely nowhere near the level you would want as a first choice if Pickford went) seems massively unlikely.

….thought the Brighton loanee at Ipswich looked decent against us, Julio Encisco. Presume he’s in their plans for next season.

Yeah is a real big turnover new manager and alot key players could be out the door, i would be worried if them

Last year it looked like Ipswich "on paper" made a lot of good signings. Ended up with 22 points.
