Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Expect a Yellow card in the first 15 minutes of games with Hackney. Not great defensively and is guilty of mistiming tackles or stupid bookable things like short tugs when it's not necessary.

Goes missing in a lot of games, but then can do something excellent. Not prem quality yet for me, but better on the ball than most of our midfield. Needs to improve but may well do so with better players alongside.

Nothing wrong with a short tug every now and again
Keeps the pipes clear 😂😂😂

This is very interesting. Comparison with Wharton at Palace who is very highly rated. Going off that they look different kind of players so not entirely sure why they’re being compared. But Hackney looks to lack in the defensive areas of the game so would need a defensive midfielder next to him. He excels at the forward parts of a midfielder though, progressive carries and passes in particular. Boro fans rave about him, always a good sign.

He’s more like Declan Rice

They have but it's early days. Not every multi club model has to follow the same methods.
Agreed

I'm pretty happy with how it looks though, both separate entity's, i wouldn't want either club using the other as a feeder or a player farm though.

Both ourselves and Roma are massive institutions (Roma are probably the better known worldwide to ourselves, being the main team from the capital, but we probably have a bigger opportunity for profit as we are a PL club)
