Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

You are correct BL, but it wouldn't have been until next year as they are planning building work for which they haven't even instructed an architect as yet.

But as it happens, my planned move will not now be going ahead as they've realised that the main house will not be big enough for their needs. So they will need the apartment themselves.

TBH I wasn't too disappointed when they relayed this to me as Rob can be hard work at times and I'd been having some misgivings about living in such close proximity. But at least it's made me focus on moving in the new year as this place is much too big, not to mention costly for me. Plus I need the independence that comes with living in a town.
You planning to stay around Cornwall or considering elsewhere? Liverpool even?

Just got back from Toxteth passing through Woolton looked for A red head @COYBL25 My nephew had died suddenly In 10 days with Liver Cancer - the funeral was a massive tourn out 4 -600 mainly reds - no Peg Legs this time Sams Hall ? in dingle road - sadly it could not take the turn out - met two blues form London my cousins - My brother etc

We gave our respects & told them why we wee leaving - & went to the Taverners Inn for a carvery with the view of the River Mersey Thats my sister & nephew ,lost in around 18 months of the big C.....
He helped a Hillsborough it affected him greatly as he was in the upper grandstand leaning over trying to save the fallen by leaning over with his scarf & hands etc with not much luck - he had raised money for a certain charity to help the deceased families only 6 weeks ago he had a granddaughter & told everyone it was the start of his life ... Life is so fickle ....

So very sorry for your loss, sending my sincerest condolences and best wishes.💙

Turmoil today for us as the local "tea " shop had no tea bags but they did have loose tea, both PG Tips .Sp I did the deadly deed and bought a massive bag of loose teat only to find that the loose tea I remember is a thing of the past and what I had bought is some curled and chopped leaf stuff .Undetered I had found a proper pot and a sieve and made a cuppa .
It was fine for me as I take a level spoon of sugar but the wife didn't like it at all as it was too bitter ,so it is destined for the bin as I cannot be harassed making two different teas .
We always had loose leaf tea when I was a child. Mum always bought Co-op tea, I would to pester her to buy Brooke Bond because it came with a collectors card but she would only buy it when it was on offer, sadly I don’t think I ever completed a set.

Very sorrty to hear of your loss @Joey66 as you say life is fickle .They are making great strides with cancer but I find there is a new type discovered as many as those they can treat . Stay strong that man

Good morning all on this fine day,it is lashing it down here . i hope all slept well and have a wonderful day .It would be nice to hear from @peteblue and @Pilks as they missed on here .
My suggestion @Barnfred 55 is to rent short term a place of your choice in Cornwall whilst you still have the one you are in as I think your heart is there ,just to see what it would be like living in a town with better contact to the outside world where you are not reliant on others for getting around . Try to get near a Chinese supermarket and a pastie shop to give it a fair chance .Good luck searching .
Have a great day all COYB
