If we sign McAtee then I won’t be expecting a midfield 3 of him, Gana and Alcaraz anytime soon.

Our best team of the last 35 years had Baines, Coleman, Osman, Arteta, Cahill and Piennar in it. Not exactly physical beasts. Moyes picked that team and it was a joy to watch. We don't need more players like Doucoure.

Exactly, Utd used to play Scholes and Keane in the middle. Arguably the best CM duo on league history. Both tiny.

Totally agree. I think if anything has been proven in the last few years is that the PL is bang average and a bit of physicality alone will get you further/higher up the table than it should

We seem to have an interest in Luiz and he is hardly the tallest either, providing they all are prepared too get stuck in and break up play they don't all have to be giants.

What do you think Gana is there for? He is streets ahead of those players in his ability to cover ground and win back possession. Midfielders don't need to win headers.
