Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

JB wasn't signing his 5 year deal without some solid assurances beyond him beimg personally happy to have had the chance to shine in the 1st team. Far roo logical reasoning I know and nothing on paper yet to back up the logic either. It's slow for sure but I sense it won't remain that way for long now
I’d say you are bang on mate. I feel the same way about Gana being protracted. I reckon Gana didn’t fancy another dog fight and wanted to see some evidence we are showing some ambition before signing. With all of the Saudi riches at his mercy I’d say he’s had his head turned by our plans… how’s that for a bit of positivity 🙏UTFT💙

Yes brilliant hadn't thought about Gana as he's no fool himself. Quite right at 35/36 he doesn't need a scrap near the bottom of the table. With the base it's more frustration as well I think. I would never accuse a single Everton fan of impatience after what we have experienced since Carlo left. Everyone's a saint except Joey Barton of course.

If it's true that he's after a Premer League return and it's only us, Fulham and United with offers, maybe he'll cut his cloth accordingly?

Moreover, he did leave City to play for Villa under Dean Smith! Villa had no Europe then. I wouldn't rule us out as an option.

Don't forget Brazil aspirations in a World Cup year and our Ancelotti ties.

There's lots going for us.
We have a shiny new stadium and that’s it at the moment mate. He’ll pick manure over us if he’s given the choice
