2024/25 Jack Harrison

Moyes: 'Let's be fair – you won't have longevity if you're not going to get me assists and goals. You have to find ways of coming up with those numbers'

Harrison 2024-25 stats: 34 apps - 1 goal, 1 assist

stating the obvious here but he is nowhere near good enough. there are numerous better options throughout this league and around Europe - within each league and also for the majority of teams playing in those leagues...

If we sign Jack Harrison, I hope someone asks Moyes about that exact quote. They won't, obviously, they'll probably ask him something about the RS's latest signing!

This is not the signing you're looking for...

As others have said…the still has 3 years remaining on a £90k a week contract. Theres no way we pay that so I don’t see him leaving on a permanent transfer

The buying club don’t necessarily have to, if Leeds want rid of him, they may have to use part of any fee to off set the balance of what they owe him.
If Leeds owe him £14m but a buying club only want to offer him £12m over the same period, it’s not unheard of for the selling club to give the player a ‘loyalty’ payment to make up the balance so the players no worse off but Leeds would save themselves £12m plus any balance from the fee.

Always thought Harrison was such a strange player, two footed with a great first touch but his output was utterly horrendous. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Moyes went back in for him but really hoped we had set our sights higher for that right side.
Totally agree mate, ambidextrous, great first touch and one hell of an engine.

But has zero football intelligence. Posseses an inability to think ahead of his first touch and has a complete lack of clarity in the final third on where to be and what to do. Hardly ever releases the ball first time, always needs to take a number of touches and ends up paralysing moves as a result.

This difference with Lindstrom was night and day. Yes Jesper was a bit too lightweight off the ball and a bit more predictable on it, but was direct and decisive when he did have the ball. First time passes and one touch and whips from wide areas. I know who I'd rather play with as a No.9

I understand why the official site doesn’t comment on every rumoured signing, but I will never understand why they don’t issue a statement where we absolutely aren’t interested in a player? Officially calling them out as jarg would hopefully stop the dodgy agents and phoney itk’s from mentioning us, and it would definitely help the mental wellbeing of many of our fans!

Because that would be hugely unprofessional on the club’s part and embarrassing for the player
