2024/25 Jack Harrison

It wouldn’t surprise me and I think the value proportion of the deal would appeal.

Why would we do it is, Moyes will love he can play that auxiliary hybrid support full back role. Particularly if Jake remained the live right full option.

A Kilbane for this generation (yes I know they are different players).
I think Moyes fully intends to go with the faux back 4 but really 5 like he did when Tarks was healthy. Even more so now that we didn't land Tete. Harrison can fill that role as can Dwight on the left if Myko goes down at some point. I would hope if we did sign Jack that we are still looking the market. I would be annoyed if this was us waving the white flag on RB

I am not a fan of Jack Harrison but maybe Moyes sees him as a back up for a small or no amount of money then he would be able to splurge more on a better winger. Moyes has seen him play and train and lets be honest the last manager didn't exactly bring the best out of players.

One goal (ironically Lindstrom's only assist) , no assists. It's not exactly a good season. I could of given him, that he was under Dyche who didn't want to attack. But he didn't do much better under Moyes.

I know his confidence was shot, so maybe he was getting back to it behind the scenes? He was good at Leeds?

If he is on pure loan or on free…could be but spending a transfer fee on him shows this club must be still suffering from psr. When other average PL teams can spend and buy loads of international players.

People keep saying things like this makes sense if its cheap or free to have him available as a backup, maybe playing out of position, which is crazy enough. But it absolutely can't be cheap or free.

When we took him on loan, we didn't pay a transfer fee, but covered 100% of his wages. £90k a week. That's £4.68 million per year.

Leeds was against the wall because he has a relegation loan clause. They likely maintained a PSR deficit on amortization on his contract, but agreed to the terms to gain relief in the wage bill.

Even if we took him on loan again, that's another £4.68 million in wages, but Leeds will want to be done with him, and will not want to take a PSR hit and so that means bringing in a fee to cover at least his £2.75 million book value.

He has reportedly been shopping himself to MLS clubs, and it's the right move, because he could be a star there and some clubs will be willing to pay a high wage for a former MLS star with PL experience. He's better suited to a lower league, and Thelwell may want him at Rangers, but that is pretty difficult considering wages, unless their owners are willing to take a loss to separate him from Leeds and give him a chance in Scotland, where he'll be much more competitive.

It's actually upsetting to even think about our grand new era being ushered in with Harrison a part of it.

Everton just need to come out immediately and put an end to this speculation by confirming they have no interest in his services.
Absolutely mate. Everton need to officially rebut statements of voices in @efcste97 head so all the GOT bedwetters can sleep dryly.
