2024/25 Jack Harrison

You've also got this option. In fact, I'd rather see Duo in the starting XI than Harrison.

There’s no way of dressing this up or trying to sell it as “he’s a hard worker” etc, the lad is simply a crap footballer and will be taking up valuable squad space and wages. Zero end product and I can’t believe I am going to have to sit and watch him run into the first defender again and again for another few years. I yearn for the day that we move beyond signing dross because they are “a nice lad” who “works hard”. Very disappointing if it comes to pass.

Maybe we are far more skint than we expected to be?
Look at who we have been linked with...freebies/loans like Keane, kyle walker, coufal, grealish, coleman, etc.

I just don’t see how we couldn’t find a younger cheaper “hardworking” footballer out there with some sort of ability and potential. I’d be extremely disappointed to bring him back

I maybe wrong but I think it could be the PSR regulations rather than skint. I know we've made a lot of progress over the last few years on PSR but some reports reckoned we can spend 50-100 million before we are in trouble again.
I'm hoping for one more 'big' signing and then a couple of cheap/freebies, and a loan or two.
I wish to caveat all of this with no knowledge at all and slightly hungover.

I wouldn’t have a problem as long as he’s very cheap and we buy another RW who is very good. Better to spaff the money on one good player than two average ones imo.

This all day long. If fans didn't believe that when we resigned Keane this one will dot the i and cross the t.

I’m not too bothered about Keane - he’s effectively 4th choice centre back.

Buying Harrison however would start the alarm bells ringing that we haven’t got a clue what we are doing.
The market for wingers is huge.
Signing Harrison is lazy at best, negligent at worst.
