If we don’t sell him this summer, he will be moved on next summer, with a few others like McNeil.I think he’s crap, proper anonymous half the time and weak. Reminds me of Tom Davies.

You what ? Sell him ? You seen our squad ?? Honestly you must live in cloud cuckoo land mate. I still don't get how folk can not see the worth of having the like of McNeill in the squad. If we don’t sell him this summer, he will be moved on next summer, with a few others like McNeil.
Ooh that's very harsh....!!!!Garner manages to play 90 mins of football and I never notice he’s on the pitch.
Shows a lack of understanding of what the player does on the pitch as well.Ooh that's very harsh....!!!!
It’s called not being good enough mate and us moving on as a club and team, and some of us as a fan base. Relegation fodder need to be a thing of the pastYou what ? Sell him ? You seen our squad ?? Many teams, if not all, we play have a match plan that basically focuses on stopping Garner getting the ball and let as much as possible go through Gueye. When we try to play out from the back, they make sure to position players between Garner and the ball while giving Gueye lots of space. We passing the ball to Gueye is the trigger for when opponents will press.Garner manages to play 90 mins of football and I never notice he’s on the pitch.

Talking wham mate. You've not a clue who'll come and go. My point is we're down to bare bones. We can't throw money at it. Garner is a capable squad player. I get he's not fashionable but very much needed. I maintain the same stance over McNeill. It’s called not being good enough mate and us moving on as a club and team, and some of us as a fan base. I didn’t say McNeil this summer, because we have a lot to do. But he will be on the bench this season barring injuries. And will go next summer
Garner is a bang average player and has a year left, I’d rather sell than give him a new deal, but again with a lot to do he may get a new deal, he also won’t be at Everton long
Another that was injured for a fair while last season too. He can pick a pass just needs players around him on same wavelength. Consistent messages from Moyes and his coaching team will help as you say.I would give Garner a bit of a reprieve until he's had an actual football manager in charge of him for a year. I couldn't imagine working with Dyche yet still knowing how to position myself on the pitch, who to pass to or how to play. Moyes will give him very simple directions and I recon he will flourish in this new learning environment.
Can’t throw money at it? We’ve already spent 40mil and it’s just the 3rd of JulyTalking wham mate. You've not a clue who'll come and go. My point is we're down to bare bones. I struggle to understand how others can't see this.….i think Garner is a talented footballer who looks to retain the ball when he has possession. It takes a skill set to do that as well as belief in your own ability. Osman was magnificent at it, it goes under the radar because they make the difficult look it easy. Garner is not Oman’s level but it’s what he attempts and it’s important we have players like that.
The other point I’d make is our tempo is better when he’s in the team. We are better when we play with tempo.
Good footballer is Garner, important squad player.
I think whenever McNeill is fit he will be one of the first names on Moyes’ team sheet and not just for free kicks and corners. It’s called not being good enough mate and us moving on as a club and team, and some of us as a fan base. Relegation fodder need to be a thing of the past
