Sandy Gall, the well respected news reader, broadcaster and author has gone to the fight and report on the Afghan struggle in the sky realm.
Aged 97.
He was one of those fellas that looked about 70 when I was a kid and who I thought had died years ago.

He was one of those fellas that looked about 70 when I was a kid and who I thought had died years ago.

Same here, shocked he was still alive, always thought he was an older man when he was broadcasting. 97 fantastic age if he managed to escape dementia and serious illnesses

…Jota, terrific footballer (I’ve posted how highly I rate him) but the human side of it is so tragic. Only just married, 3 young children.

Apparently happened early hours of this morning, seems like his brother has also died in the car accident.

So sad.
