Ronald Wesley
They have psr issues this summer Roma don't they .next summer they could just buy him off us .I don’t get why if Roma’s manager wants the player he would be satisfied with only having the player for a years loan. Seems to me there would be some sort of shenanigans to come which would end up them keeping the player and we’d end up being worse off. If this report is real something about it doesn’t sit right with me at all about it
Going to West Ham mate. Potter really rates himRonald Wesley
On a (very) basic level maybe. Obviously if we buy the lad for £30m, loan him to Roma, he breaks his leg in his first game and is never the same player again then it very much does have an impact on Everton as we pay a bloke for 4 more years and see another £24m drain away for absolutely no benefit whatsoever.Even if it’s true, (which it won’t be) it’d likely be financially jiggery pokery.
Buy the lad for £30 million, 5 year contract meaning £6 million a year on our PSR. Roma pay us a loan fee of £6 million and his wages, no impact on Everton.
This potential deal just doesn’t seem to benefit us at all. We’ve got our own squad to rebuild. Screw RomaThey have psr issues this summer Roma don't they .next summer they could just buy him off us .

Struggling to see how the suggested deal benefits us at allId be very surprised if we don't see deals like this happen between the 2 clubs goin forward.
Psr shenanigans to benefit both.
And thats how you box clever with PSR in a multi club model
He may never come to Everton though. What’s clever about it?
In your scenario Roma are £6 million plus wages down in year one and we are even.
In the meantime we have no right back.
Year two the player comes to Everton? Regardless of if we need/want him by that point?
It’s just not really beneficial to anyone.
He may never come to Everton though.
Not saying it's happening
But there will be some sort of psr reasoning behind it.
Bit like what Chelsea do with strasbourg.
They ain't. But they trade players between them regularly.Chelsea and Strasbourg are very much not equal though. I can’t see any benefit to us in this deal. Filing it as rubbish.
Different countries/leagues have different implementations of FFP/PSR.What’s clever about it?
